Just got civ 6 on sale £29 on mac but so far incredibly disappointed to be honest, but generally when i get a new civ i feel like that early doors so ever hopeful although there are some gaping problems.

Having a lot of fun with this, levels are really short so it's great for dipping into for half an hour in the evening. Sometimes you finish a level in a few minutes, othertimes it takes a lot of deaths, but mainly it's a few minutes.

Destiny 2 - enjoying it even though it’s similar to the first.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands. With some self imposed limitations. No HUD, no fast travel allowed. No stealing cars from civilians. Can only change weapon loadout at a weapons box.

That sounds hardcore.

The Futurama phone game got annoying, as I was prepared to pay, I couldn't complete any of the extra challenges, and it got to the poitn where I wouldn't be able to play for a while unless I bought stuff.

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes however, again you have the option to buy stuff if you want/need, but you can play loads every day for free in one stint, or now and again, and you easily collect stuff which means you can get more stuff to upgrade your characters etc.
I think it's described as a "card" game where you collect characters, level them up, and then in battles it's turn based you choose what to do, I'm quite enjoying it as a time killer for a quick battle, or lunch time at work :)

I played Horizon Zero Dawn recently. Sunk around 70 hours into it all told to obtain the Platinum, then another 30 for a speed run to complete the new game plus on ultra hard. Damn good game.

Also played the Battlefront II beta over the past few days. It's better than the first game, at least going by their respective betas, but I'm not liking the loot crate progression system. Micro transactions in a full price AAA game, especially ones that give people a competitive edge, are a really bad idea...

Got Shadow of War coming this month as well, so that should be good (although I've read that the end is a bit of a grind).

Its good fun Rob, scoping out an enemy base with binoculars, but not being sure where they are when you go in so you have to take each corner slowly, make your shots count, watch your back etc.
