Synopsis:
This seven disc box set features all 24 episodes from The X-Files Season 4. Further testing the relationship between Scully and Mulder, this season sees both the agents struggling with personal demons in their battle against the Government`s deepening deceptions. In a thrilling two-parter (Tunguska and Terma), Scully risks contempt of Congress to shield her partner as he battles against the Black Oil and the treacherous Krycek in a brutal Russian experimental camp.

One of the central storylines running throughout Season Four is the discovery that Scully has developed cancer, a direct result of her abduction experience in Season Two. Season Four is packed with episodes showcasing The X-Files` ability to confront the inexplicable. Invisibility (Unrequited), Inbreeding (Home), Shape-Shifting (Small Potatoes) and psychic killers (Unruhe) are just some of the challenges facing Mulder and Scully, as the ambiguity of their relationship is further highlighted. In the season finale (Gethsemane) Mulder faces up to the possibility that his whole belief system has been based on a lie, fuelled by the syndicate. Will he finally give up his search for the truth? Or can Scully pull him back from the brink?

Season 4 of the x-files has every thing in it from shape shifting
to 3 perverted brothers. The main plot of the season is the discovery of Scully having cancer!, because of her alien encounter!. Season 4 has a brilliant 2 parter involving oil that has some kind of slug like alien in it. Though in this this season there is one episode that may disturb some viewers, even i was a little and i`m an x-file fan!. the episode is called `Home` and involves 3 perverted brothers, with disfigured faces, if your not sure what discs it on, a little warning pops up before the episode. The special features consist of the normal stuff that comes with the box set. Including 9 deleted scenes with commentary by Chris Carter.

I thought this series was going to be good but it was complete rubbish.

Feel really upset and the extras didn`t help either.
