Had to Google both of them and Daniel Wu whose also mentioned. Which says more about me being out of touch than them. I don't know if there's any attempt to cast to a type but Vikander has a slightly similar, full lipped, look of Jolie.
Otherwise open minded.

Walton Goggins was brilliant in The Shield, and Justified, so "should" be a great bad guy.

I think the first Tomb Raider film is the only film I've seen at the cinema where I've gone to the loo mid film!

Looks like based on the first game reboot, although can't remember the mcguffin used in the game it was that long ago...

There wasn't really a mcguffin, it was just her trying to survive and get of the island. 

But if you're thinking of the first ever game, the mcguffin was the Scion

No, thinking of the reboot - there was some quasi-religious thing at the end, but don't remember much about it other than annoying QTE's...

Quite enjoyed the last two films., but will be hard to fill Angelina Jolie's bra size, but going by the trailer it looks good, with puzzles, violence, traps and violence, and tombs with violence, and with a supernatural flavour thrown in. Did I mention violence 

PS...A Mcguffin?
Do you get them at Mcdonalds?
Had to look the word up, as had never heard of it before now.

Is this the first film where the script is actually based on the video game?

The first Angelina Jolie's film had locations taken from the Tomb raider games, and also the living statues were again taken from the games. Supernatural elements are also taken form the games.

Other than that the usual theme is to tomb raid around the world for arcifacts, which is as per the games from Tomb raider 1 all the way up to tomb raider |Underworld. i stopped buying the games after that, as they were total violence.

As the reboot came in with Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider and it was more realistic and about Lara being shipwrecked on an island, captured, tortured, gorry mess stuff with bows and arrows and total violence, ie, as per most modern games out to get the money.

This new movie will be about the reboot lara.
