RE: [VIDEO] Sonic The Hedgehog (2019) - Official Trailer

Well that's a minute of my life I'm not getting back.
You'll gather I didn't even last the whole trailer.

My Grandad's War

Another side of Gary Lineker
...and well worth a look.
Particularly for me as my Dad was there in the same campaign.
Like a lot rarely spoke about the war but, as a territorial, he was one of the first in and not out till peace was declared.
For a non religious man used to go to a service on remembrance day for a good few years after as he told me he lost six of his best mates at Monte Cassino, which means in the space of about 5 days.

I was far from the first or on my own in noticing the Emporor's abscence of clothing.
Expected to lose though I did think we'd score.
First time I'm actualy looking forward to an interlull.

Democracy improved?

Have a look at this on BBC Click
If you can't be bothered with the whole program come in at about 4.40.

Looks like an interesting idea but I can't imagine either of the (current) main parties going for it.

That all went past way too quickly.
Some kind of list would be nice.
Yeh.
I know.
Google it.

His Dark Materials already on the Beeb.
Seen the first ep and I'm not totally hooked yet despite some good performances and a pretty good grounding in place and atmosphere.

RE: [VIDEO] Arsenal: 2019/2020

My life that was boring.

Here's our pass map from yesterday afternoon.

One successful pass in their area (Pepe to Mustafi goal) against the fifth place team in Portugal.
I was damn near nodding off. If the unlikely happens and we manage to get Champions League football next season we are going to be so embarrassed if it's with this coach and these tactics.

Earlier embarrassment could well occur on Saturday against Leicester.

I suspect most of us on here are pretty entrenched and know the way we're going to vote anyway and I'm delighted to say, although I have an account, I avoid Facebook unless absolutely necessary, which it rarely is.

Do you think that the UK has more influence out side or as part of the EU.

More interesting is how much they damage their own cause by splitting the Leave vote.

Who governs the country is of little interest to them as it will be an easier option if we're not part of a larger power block.

RE: [VIDEO] Brexit

For what it's worth I think the results of this one will be no overall majority for anyone, probably Tories with the largest share.

Labour vote down but not by as much as people think

LibDems significantly increasing their vote and probably enough to reflect in more seats, maybe around 40

SNP, Greens etc getting a larger slice of the vote certainly and seats possibly.

So we'll end up with the Tories trying to bribe someone to back them again or even Corbyn trying to rustle up enough minorities. Trouble is SWinson's already said no way to a coalition.

You can point and mock when I'm totally wrong in December because the whole thing's more volatile than I can ever remember.

Andrew Bridgen is a particular level of wilfully thick only equalled by Mark François.

What we're up against.
Last fare of the night a rabid Labour far leftie full of more hatred for the LibDems than the Tories. 'Swinson's a snake' 'Yellow Tories' and apparently there's been an 'academic report' directly attributing 100,000 deaths to the Lib Dems under the coalition government.

My polite We're not going to agree on this met by 'it's not a matter of opinion it's subjective fact.'

Should add that as soon as I caught the way it was going I just nodded for most of the journey so it was a lecture not a conversation.

The Sky router was replaced probably around two years ago but it's not improved massively and still drops out.

Not something I asked but if it's FTTP do BT provide a router or is it worth shelling out for one. I think there was an issue with Sky whereby you could only use theirs or am I wrong on that.

The main reason for going BT is they are the only company I recognise who will do FTTP.

BT broadband

Does anyone have BT as I'm thinking of switching from SKY.

Currently just for the phone and broadband but TV is a possible.
As far as I can see Sky Atlantic isn't available which is the only channel that would bother me. I'll need to consult the family though on the rest.

On and off I've spent ages trying to get decent workable WiFi in the house but still get complaints from son and daughters that it drops and they end up using Data off their deal that leaves them short by months end.

Ideally I'd give them the vote but it's too close to this election to allow it.
As you imply the whole age of majority thing needs overhauling and voting is just a part of it.

Changing the franchise to include 16/17s would mean more votes for opposition parties which is why they will throw a strop if it's tried.
If the opposite was true they'd be all for it.

We have at least this election to go for it to be someone else's fault Corbyn doesn't get in. Whether he and Momentum go back under their rock depends on the size of defeat and time to the GE after that.

This was him having what is a regular dig at his own party to get their act together or lose to Trump by default.
