Looking for a new LCD any suggestions...
At the moment i have a 30" Goodmans LCD, but i`m looking to upgrade in the summer to a pixel plus tv and was looking into the Philips 32PF9976 for around £1500 from currys, does anyone have any other suggestions for cheaper prices or better tvs, looking for around £1500 max

recently a friend of mine in the United States has tried to hack his Magnavox 410 or Magnavox 412 not sure which one, however, when we actually got the region code changed to play region 2 it comes up with please enter password. could anyone please help as i in need of playing my region 2 dvd`s which i brought over here, cheers.
Playing Uk Xbox in US help!!
Hi there just recently arrived in the Alabama to study for a few months and of course needed the essentials i.e. xbox, however, i have tried numourous US based products which are stated to convert the voltage for such products yet i am yet to have any signs of life from the xbox itself. will i need to get an adapter from the uk which will convert down the power volatge to meet my requirements so i can actually listen to my music and play fifa and counter strike once again!! until now i`ve had to go and buy a laptop which i must say was a steal, not literally though! large memory, fast, dvd/cdwr and all the other technical mumbo jumbo for around 470 pound!! any way help would be widly apreciated as i`m missing soo much my xbox

being looking for a while for a TiVO set and after seeing people spend near 250 on ebay thought i wasnt going to be able to find one cheap, yet i found a site which sells them for 99, is it just a one off payment i`m sure i remember hearing of registration fees or something, could anyone shed some light please.

recently my old philips broke after only six months, and now after two months of waiting dixons have no turned round and told me that they can`y fix it and will just replace the product, but due to my old machine being brought off the sales line they have offered the above surround sound kit to me (philips lx700) anyone got any info on the kit, cheers

Just recieved my copy of wrestlemania for the gamecube as i thought that the freeloader was finally on its way now it and resident evil will remain on my shelf gaining dust as i wait, because of this constant delay i got bored the other day as there is nothing for the cube at the moment that "tickles my pickle" so went and brought a PS2, this cant be good as i seem to be gettin into greater debt just a week before i start uni, god damn freeloader!!!!!

well I sent DVDSoon an e-mail asking them to cancel my order next day they send me the dispatch e-mail, think i`ll just have to try this method every time, how long do they normally take to deliver to the UK i know they say 3-13 days but whats the average time?

Problem is all sorted now, they sent me a new player requested a differnet model as it seemed like a batch fault, got a sony player and is working excellently, thanks for all help, is appreciated very much especially to the person (sorry cant remember name) who gave me the owner of dvdplayers.co.uk`s e-mail address to which i think without this would still be going on now, once again many thanks

Apologies for the lack of response on this issue which has been reported
on one occasion again this week.
Our staff did promptly contact H&B in France, who failed to reply, and I
have now put pressure on the manufacturer for a solution to this issue.
Our Engineers will also perform there own tests tomorrow and I expect to
have a conclusion within the next 48 Hours.
Once again apologies for the lack of response.

The kit used is a Yamaha 5.1 surround sound kit biult in DTS etc, am connecting via a Monster Optical cable, what excactly were the changes in which you made on the options I have tried almost everything and no changes, cheers.

dvd player is running through amp, heres the thing it will play CDs fine yet dvds will have gaps in the sound don`t know why.

Hi, a few weeks ago I brought a H&B dvd player from the site www.dvdplayers.co.uk after finding a fault in that it would not output sound properly through the external speakers I did try using higher quality wires etc which did not work i sent numerous e-mails to both their technincal support and return addresses to which there has been no reply, could anyone help in any way here, I need to get the player fixed as I am happy with it just not the fact that I cant enjoy my surround sound now, any info is much appreciated, cheers.

ok sorted out the no sound thing after some changes on the dvd player, however, am still having trouble with the sound going off every few seconds,could this be down to the connections used?it only happens on the dvds, cd`s work fine so am stumped, again any help is welcome, thanks.

Hi, just got the following DVD player and although picture is fine etc, i`m having big problems with the sound, as follows;
1.can not get any sound through my surround sound kit other than DTS, the only inputs to my surround sound are Coax and Optical (am i buggered here?)
2.Even when I get the DTS to play the sound cuts out for a second at a time and is very very irritating.
Anyone who can shed some light information is much apreciated, thanks.
