Hey Folks

Just a quick question that im sure someone can answer for me.

If i was to buy some Jap games for gamecube can the writing in the game be changed to english.

Also i know you can buy the games from auction sites but is there a website where you can buy Jap games.

Let us know.

Cheers

Daz

go to anotherworld.co.uk only problem is they are expensive, for the US version of Resident Evil its £65 whereas DVDboxoffice had it for a stunning £28

generally speaking the option screens on jap games are in japanese. if the its an rpg or adventure game the text is also in japanese, but often on shoot em ups and beat em ups etc you can get english text. the only exeption on the gamecube that i know of so far is sonic 2, where you can toggle between different languages. personally id opt for the american versions.

The thing is with Jap games is that people are too afraid of getting them due to it being in Japanese. Even if you dont understand the language, Japanese instruction manuals are the best. They usually give you pictures of what happens on-screen when you push a certain button. Also, you shouldn`t really have a problem unless you get an RPG and even then its generally a pile of pee!

I wouldn`t risk getting a text-heavy Jap game unless you know for sure it can be changed to English - most can`t.

newageconsoles.com are good for import games, and often have a decent bargain section.
