Apparently Tesla shares are tanking after Space Karen has sold off 3.6 billion dollars worth of them and he's no longer the world's richest man.

Musk is currently running a poll on whether he should step down from running Twitter. It's 57.5% yes atm with only a few minutes left to run (vote while you can!). He says he'll abide by the vote which is looking decisive. Of course, he may well just put some other muppet in charge.

I guess he's on a search for the biggest c*** he can find. There's quite a choice these days.

If he puts Kushner in charge there will be a mass exodus and I'll be in it.
It will end up as Trump's own platform for his run at 2024 which he could be running from jail given the news of criminal charges on four counts, including insurrection.

There is another possibility that in true Trump style 'The poll said I should stay' if he edits it to just show the people who follow his account.

I don't see much of interest on Mastodon, but just checked, I only follow 6 accounts on mastodon, so that might be why! Tribel still seems more active, but also is still mostly full of nut jobs from my limited experience. Interestingly Tribel is blocked at work!

Not on it but I get the impression Tribel is more American democrat.
Mastodon is fine but as you say you'll have to spend a bit more time looking out folk to follow.
Musk's latest move, For You only being for subscribers, bothers me not a bit as I never go on that tab except for the occasions that Twitter makes it the default.
