In the UK we have an inquest first, on what was the cause, the circumstances, and who was to blame, though criminal justice is never straight forward from that.

Lessons will be learned, as though we don't know about the dangers of escaping high buildings, but they just keep building them to get mass housing.

...and a public inquiry announced by our wonderful PM who narrowly avoided speaking to any plebs.
I wonder how long that will take and at what cost. All to reach similar conclusions that haven't been acted on before.

Now the unedifying and quite honestly disgraceful rantings of an idiotic woman claiming the fire "Is revenge for the London attacks" . FFS what an absolute clown she is. Bodies barely even counted and this clown comes up with ludicrous garbage like this. Good god, how or more importantly why was this idiot given about ten minutes of air time to spout uneducated and rambling nonsense. Her posturing and rantings live on air has essentially blamed another ethnic group for the deliberate fire setting of the building and the resultant deaths . I actually weary at the thought that idiots such as this are allowed to air their bitter and vile views at such horrendous incidents

I know mate but it truly wearies me that even when the fire service personnel are putting their lives at risk idiotic ramblings are aired by a national broadcaster.

Victoria Derbyshire this morning. I was just checking the news as I usually do and fell upon this "News" broadcast. I honestly could scarcely believe what I was hearing so I rewound the broadcast on, Sky+, to see if I had misheard or had misunderstood the comments. Sadly the comment was as I had initially heard, much to my sadness and in reality disgust anger .  Utterly repugnant from start to end and all in the vicinity of grieving families  . The host/ reporter should have nipped this in the bud instantly or at the very least admonished the woman for stating such a comment. Sound bite journalism at it`s very lowest and not what we should expect of any media outlet .

Just be thankful we don't have fox news, I remembered them being bad but honestly, how they get away with the biased right wing hate speech with out and out lies is beyond me.

The downside of free speech. :( In the UK, TV news is legally required to be unbiased, even if it doesn't always succeed and some stations try more than others.
