Lets think about this the other way, about the amounts of signals sent out from the Earth to the stars over the decades, and consider that the aliens might be sitting down right now to watch an episode of the 'I love lucy show'

Na, the aliens pick up the signals ok, and are awaiting next years Game of Thrones.

Its just Sky de-encryption is their problem as they do not have a Sky card, but they do have their best minds working on it

If they can't access Sky without an account I don't think we have a great deal to fear from any possible invasion.

This is why I find UFO-conspiracy theorists so adorable. The simple fact is that no-one knows we're here- yet. I have no doubt whatsoever that we're not the only planet in the entire universe with life on it, the numbers simply don't allow for that amount of exlusiveness. It's just a shame that the universe will probably implode in on itself before any of us meet up
