Unsolicited Pr0n Scam

Mark Oates (Reviewer) posted this on Monday, 29th July 2013, 18:17

Startled to get two R18 pr0n discs through the post today.  At first I thought they were maybe review discs from somewhere, but I haven`t had any email correspondence from anyone for a while.

Had a look around on the web and found a thread on Moneysavingexpert that it`s a mailshot scam.  The discs apparently have an unlock code on the menu you have to dial a premium rate number to get.  The return address is NL0002, Greenford, UB18 7NL.

I`d say if you opened the envelope at the breakfast table you`d be in the doghouse with the better half or otherwise worrying about damaging impressionable little minds chowing on Coco Pops opposite you.

more fool them. I`ll wager a decent ripping program will get the footage off the disc anyway.

In any case, I`m pretty sure sending unsolicited adult material through the mail is illegal

I also got 2 through the post today. However to my Mums address - I`ve not lived there for 20 odd years!

Only number is an 08 number that prob costs a bit.

And yes MacRipper can rip them ;)

All I ever get is SKY adverts through the post, telling me what great value I get, while it increases in cost again, up another £1 a month

As long as you pay the extra I'm sure all perversions are catered for.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

I got the same yesterday, mind you not really in the dog house at home, but they turned up at my work address - luckily the boss was understanding and asked if they were any good and could he have a copy.
