Now I`m both pleased & disappointed (if its true of course!).
Pleased that the identity has been revealed and disappointed that the secret isn`t a secret anymore! :D

means they just need to find a new one for next season :)

I wonder how they`ll kill this one off, maybe they`ll get him to recreate some of his QoS stunts and send him over a cliff.

It`s been widely reported that there is no `one` Stig.
They use different one at different times.

Good friend of mine is a motorsport photographer that covers Top Gear quite a lot. According to him, there are two Stigs and their driving styles are quite different. Wouldn`t tell me who they were though !

You can definitely see differences in their driving styles.
One will be smooth, the other is a ragged beggar, chopping away at the wheel.
They have also, on occasion, used normal members of the crew in the Stig uniform, for shots that don`t require fancy driving.

The Stig has been sacked for revealing his identity and a replacement appointed
