After the massive disappointment that was The Mandalorian (to me anyway), I really enjoyed Obi Wan Kenobi, and Andor, hopefully his will be just as good

didn't realise the first episode was going to be nearly an hour so only watched this one, so far, so good :)

A lot of references to Rebels, which I hope won't put off ppl who never watched that, or dismissed it as a "kids" cartoon. I started to read an article the other day about how this was going to be the 5th series of Rebels, but they ended Rebels on 4 series, I didn't read the whole thing for risk of spoilers.

My guess is it's not a live action version of what would have been series 5, but Filoni has used some of the ideas he had for 5, for Ahsoka.

I like Star Wars and a lot of the derivatives but I'm nowhere near up to speed with the who the why or what order it all comes in.

Taken on it's own (episode one) seems to tick all the boxes.
Jedi, light sabres, various go fast sh*t and the essential McGuffin for them all to pursue.
Some of the dialogue seems a little too slow to accept as just deliberate but hey ho.
Ding ding all aboard for another ride.
