Does anyone own a M3 Adapter for the Nintendo DS...??

Andy_R (Elite) posted this on Monday, 7th January 2008, 20:19

I`m after a Nintendo DS to keep myself occupied while I`m recuperating from my operation I`m having this weekend! Also the wife is after one and that will keep her occupied when she starts her maternity leave next month.

When I do eventually purchase one...the shop`s are out of stock as I type...I would like to play downloaded nds files using this M3 adapter. I`m just wondering if anyone here has one of these and if so are they any good?

Also I`ve downloaded a few of these nds files. When I extract the rar files I`m then left with the nds file that windows does not recognise. Will these files still work when I drop them onto my SD card?

Many thanks in advance.....

If you can wait 2 weeks for delivery the Top Toy DSTT at $25 delivered is a lot cheaper.

Good luck for the op.

Got an R4 card for the sister in law and that works perfect but they are difficult to get hold of now. Just got a DSTT card for myself and does the same job. Got it from ds-memory.net for £30

Cheers for the info guys! :)

After frantic Googling these past few days I opted for the M3 DS Real (Perfect Bundle Version) which has...amongst others...a built in Media Ex Application and Moonshell Media Player so I can play movies , MP3`s , JPEG`s and loads more!! It cost me around £45 from Amazon.

On another note I read somewhere on the net that your best playing DPG files for good quality movies. Does anyone know any good software that converts AVI`s or MPEG`s to DPG?

All I need now is a DS......!?!!? I`ve been searching high and low for one since last Saturday but can`t find one anywhere. My brother and sister-in-law have just headed to America for a belated honeymoon - he got married last July - so at worst he said he`ll pick up one from there for me. Might even save myself a few quid in the process.....

This DSTT card looks really nifty. Is there a way to create an image of the games you own to put onto the SD card (to save carting them around everywhere), or is it a matter of finding a precreated file on the web somewhere?

let us know how you get on with converting the movie files to play on it. I haven`t tried it yet on my M3 Simply (which has been great by the way).
