Totally agree - I watched the trail last night and it does look pretty darned fab. :D

they probably read Robert Anton Wilsons Illuminati trilogy where 23 is a cosmic number that turns up everywhere be it as 23 or by summing various numbers up. Its also a holy number in Discordianism which turns up in the illuminati books.
If you read the dark tower books by stephen king he rips this off by having 19 a significant number.

Was thinking of watching this today as I was intrigued by the trailer but the fact there hasn`t been much talk about it worried me.

Just checked the Total Film review and doesn`t look like it`s very good

No, but my brother was telling me last night that two of his work colleagues had separately told him to avoid it - they`d both been to see it the previous evening (separately) and both wished they hadn`t.
Shame really, I thought the trailers looked pretty interesting.

It`s got 8% on Rotten Tomatoes so think I`ll be giving it a miss...

If the ending of the film isn`t the same as I guessed from watching the trailer, I`ll be amazed.

It was s*** and I was right!

For Burroughs fans, they`ll know that the number 23 appears in much of his (and Brion Gysin`s) work. :D
