I haven`t used SVP for ages, they seem to have stopped their cheap shipping deals, but I just got their e-mail flyer for the Wild Wednesday deals- I don`t want or need one, but they have a Hitchens DAB/FM Radio (refurbished) for £13.99 + p&p
Looks like the red brand radio sold in sainsburys (I`m only saying it looks like it, I don`t have either)

great company have used them many times... however they have recently stopped their collection facility... i live less than a mile from their depot in Paignton, when i aske dthe reason why i got no explanation, i tried to point out that in the `green world` it would be in their interest as it would save using a courier and packaging, but have to say they were not interested at all? :/ all they could reply was if you want anything you will need to pay for shipping... absolute madness! :(

The difference between SVP and other shops though as that if you get the Wednesday email promo it clearly says that the price will only be from midday for 24 hrs on the Wednesday in question, so it`s not like other stores who advertise a price, then claim they got it wrong/can`t get it in stock.

I like SVP but I do find unless they`re doing their free/cheap chipping it`s only worth buying from them if/when you need loads otherwise the shipping offsets the saving, so if you only want a few blank DVDs/CDs play can be better.

although they do offer some items which mean you get p&p for 99p so it can be worth buying one of them to save on the p&p

I nref to Mark`s comment, there seem to be quite a few changes recently to SVP, since roughly the move to the new warehouse.

I used to buy bulk discs from them to save on costs but although I was told on the phone they were still available, the website still states bulk buy, when you click on them it`s individual pricing!
No bulk stock anymore :`(

Also, some of the pricing is getting higher than elsewhere. Wild Wednesday was brill at first but then dropped away that you aren`t getting huge savibgs (this radio poss. excluded) but I`m finding I buy more frm BP now.
