    Content:

The story of a load of British navel mini submarines and their effort to sink the German battleship, Tirpitz. John Mills plays the very posh captain in this gripping 1955 film directed by Ralph Thomas. The acting is superb as is the storyline and I recommend this film to fans of war films in an instant.

    Video:

4:3. This is the first step to destroying a great film on DVD.

    Sound:

Mono. This is the second step to destroying a great film on DVD.

    Features:

Ummm, trailers for other films. The final nail in the coffin.

    Overall:

Do not buy until it gets the DVD treatment it deserves. That`s if it ever gets re released at all.
