EDIT: Answering my own question it looks like it might be possible to watch it with a UK Disney subscription but via VPN for USA or Canada.
I'll suck it and see on June 2nd I guess.

Well what a cracking start to the season, a proper grown up sci-fi episode and it bares well for the future, this show has come on leaps and bounds from the ott comedy I think was envisaged when he started it, and definitely for the better, so reminiscent of the original Star Trek show now tackling tough topics in a way sci-fi can get away with that maybe other shows can't
