There was a time when everybody I knew watched this.

I don't know anybody that does now, myself included.

The ratings are down to season 1 levels, but it is still the most watched show on Sunday nights. That just shows how insane the viewing figures were at one point.

Still watching but out of a stupid sense of loyalty to the show rather than anything else. It really has gone down the tubes.

Ditto.

All the menace and threat has gone out of it. Rick has indeed gone, which is not really a spoiler because they kept trailing 'Rick's last episode' etc.

Wow episode 1 was so boring. :/ I think I'll watch till Rick leaves and then stop completely.

I just watched the episode where Rick leaves...

SPOILER:
Um, Rick survives, but is spirited away on a helicopter, then we get a teaser for the upcoming episodes which is "years later", and we are supposed to believe he wouldn't have found his way back to them?

Also bridge blows up, everyone assumes Rick is dead, nobody checks before they believe it? Wow they give up on people quick these days..

That teaser made me want to give the remaining 3 episodes a go tho.

So it would seem the zombies are sentient and are plotting. Not sure what to make of this. A new injection of threat and excitement or a desperate attempt to breath new life into this moribund show?

SPOILER:
Unfortunately, nothing as exciting as that. Just people with zombie masks on, AKA The Whisperers.

Just so I'm clear, these Whisperers spend their lives walking around in herds and directing them towards people, where they then kill them? Righto.

That's a shame :(

Same old same old in the season second-half opener.

SPOILER:
Even in a show about a post-apocalyptic world populated by zombies, it stretches the imagination somewhat that a group of survivors would integrate themselves with a herd in order to kill other survivor groups. Load of old nonsense.
