I always fancy a go at this but then can never be bothered to do anything with the team once it's started, think the last time I did this was back in the 90's when I was a squaddie and pre-internet days...

A work mate has been hassling me to do this, I think 'cos he thinks he knows more about football than me (the funny thing is I KNOW he knows more about football than me, but I don't care !) so I may as well do both leagues, that way if I do better than him it will be very amusing :)

I remember one year I chose a few ex Saints players (see, shows how much I know ;) ), Puncheon got sent off his first match, someone else got injured so was out, another player who left us to join one of the big boys was part of a rotation, but never got a game, and the big stars of the previous year, didn't show up when I picked them, so I kind of gave up after a few games :(

MotD I only watch the highlights of the last match to see Saints :(

So, got my excuses in already :)

thanks for setting it up, I'm Funk FIFA, I couldn't be arsed to read tutorials on how to pick a team, they never did me much good in previous years ;) I did the classic, oh, I have £20M left to buy 6 players with, so who do I cut ;)

I'm in and ready for dissappointment! Much like Arsenal fans everywhere.
