Problems Contacting Play247

I`m missing a Simpsons Box set that was posted on October 10th. I`ve since received a DVD that was posted on the 16th, so naturally I`m worried.
The problem is that I can`t contact play. Since I`m outside the UK, I phone +44 1534 633 155. However, the phone just keeps ringing and ringing and nobody answers. Maybe the number is no longer in use. Do you guys have this experience? If not, would somebody mind phoning them and asking them what their number is for people outside the UK. I`ve tried emailing them but have had no response. Cheers.

Havnt got a clue but id give them 0/10 for customer servive.
If they do every reply via email its always signed play247 and not JOHN SMITH or who ever sends the emails(Which looks like no one at the moment :)

Lets all not order anything from them again :)))))))))

Use their 0845 8001020 number, it takes a while but you WILL get through. Then wait about 10 minutes on the queue, and you are through, I`ve done it twice last week. Just be Patient!

I have to say their email reply is non-existen though, but if you can get through on the phone then there`s no probelm is there?

The phone just rings and rings

but someone WILL eventually answer - and are surprisingly helpful

Their e-mails response is non existent. Ironically they replied to my e-mails after I phoned! s***e!

Their customer service is none existent - pse see my earlier thread. I have voted with my feet , it is probably the most effective way of giving them notice their clients are unhappy; that and sending them an e-mail inc this forum`s address so they can see their problems developing! That way they have no excuse if they fold due to a shortfall of clients. Vern

God almighty,

I have tried for over three weeks to get in touch and they just don`t bother. The one response I did get was obviously in response to the title of one of the emails I sent. I have sent five emails because they cut up the address on postage (the labels cut up my address not enough character support) so I am missing 2 films.

I am so disappointed.

Yes it seems there is a problem with some region 2 discs. My account says that my 2 hong kong legends discs were posted on the 12th October, but they have not arrived. When I spoke to an operator today , they said that the discs are in `transit` and should arrive in a couple of days. We`ll see.
On the other hand, 2 region 2 discs arrived last friday on time.
Keep phoning, you will get through eventually. After 4 or 5 engaged tones, it will start ringing, then you will have to wait a couple of minutes to speak to an operator.
Region 1 is arriving no problems. EG Swordfish.

I think its absolutely disgusting what I am hearing about play247.com, I have lost £38 pounds worth of films. I feel sorry for everyone else who is having trouble as it is not nice to feel let down. Perhaps we should setup a support group - only joking!

It is NOT acceptable by ANY companies standards to ignore customers and not resolve problems.

I would advise caution to others who continue to use play247, even if in the past they have been brilliant - thats exactly what I thought. I knew they were top rate but they have let me down soo badly. Look at the increasing amounts of disgruntled customers

That is not a good sign of any company are play247 going to last much longer?
