The Amiga definitely won. I owned an ST and was constantly disappointed by the multi-format magazines saying that the Amiga versions of games were better. So much so, I sold the ST and got an A500. Everyone I knew had an Amiga. Still one of my favourite machines to this day.

I think if I'd been able to afford midi instruments I'd have looked upon the Atari ST a bit more favourably, but since I couldn't, the Amiga's built in sound chip and OctaMed made me not.

What little experience I've had with the ST's OS, it was awful in comparison... unless you really liked the colour green above anything else.
