RE: SO WHICH P2P SHOULD I GET
limewire seems very fast at the moment, but tbh you`re better of with bit-torrent (if you have broadband) if you want any info or the newest client (very easy to set up) pm me :)

Well as long as you want peer to peer to downlod demos, movie trailers, nothing wrong at all surely ;)
I use eMule to get anything and everything ;) Kazaa isn`t really supported any more, I used to tu se that before eMule.
Bittorrent is good if you want one file at a time, me, I like to queue loads up, go to work, coem home, so what i have :)
hope that helps

RE: SO WHICH P2P SHOULD I GET
Yeah, the only thing I use is eMule. :D
Its not so good for single mp3 tracks, but I tend to get complete albums anyway. Shareaza is possibly better for single tracks, though I tend not to use that so much. My mate is using Kazaa Lite for single mp3 files at the min, and is finding it ok.
Bit Torrent is great and what i use 90% of the time, but the best true (for depth and quality of files anyway) P2P is DC++. The more you have to share the better it is. I use my dvd rips as my shared folder and I can get virtually anything i want. Superfast too and no leachers who give nothing back.
Oh, and soulseek for music.
What im listening to (if youre interested)
RE: SO WHICH P2P SHOULD I GET
Hi,
I used to use: eDonkey for Movies & Software and Kazza Lite for single MP3 files.
But since my new broadband installation I`ve found eDonkey and Shareazza very slow and I cant get hold of Kazza Lite.
I have tried Bit Torrent, but would prefer something where I can leave a few files on download whilst I`m at work.
I would like to know the general opionion on what`s the best P2P for downloading:
Movies?
Software?
Single MP3 files?
Cheers,
G

With the better BT clients you can do all of this. Have multiple torrents going or have one start when another finishes or reaches a certain upload/download ratio etc.
BT is the way for almost everything except single songs etc. for which Kazaa-lite is as good as most things.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..
RE: SO WHICH P2P SHOULD I GET
Azureus is a great BitTorrent client, though it drinks CPU resources by the gallon on my computer. Requires Java.
