Breakdown recovery?

RJS (undefined) posted this on Saturday, 5th August 2017, 07:56

I'm with the RAC atm, but I'm sure the renewal is going up every year (as bad as insurance companies), does anyone recommend anything else?

My car is 15 years old, pretty reliable but I did use the RAC once and I do think they offer a good service.

But the renewal is £89 this year and I'm not even getting at home cover.

I'm with the AA, pay about £45-ish a year without home cover, but I have to phone them each year to get the discount reapplied, otherwise it goes up around £25.

I get AA cover with my bank, so I don't do anything...

I Use Start Rescue for both the bike and car.

You have to be careful for those that get AA or RAC through your bank - it's usually the basic service you get - check the small print!

To be fair, basic service is all I was wanting anyway...
