Page 1 of I`ve decided - X-box it is!!!

after much deliberation over gamecube and x-box ive gone for x-box. although hurrendously looking and a bit expensive, ive looked at the game releases for the upcoming months and have to say x-box`s is the stronger. i think gamecubes initial line-up is pretty average, luigis mansion is way too short and easy and not a patch on mario 64 and waverace and star wars are pretty good re-hashes. so with halo, jet set radio, champ man, project gotham et al, i think x-box looks much stronger. gamecube will be worth getting once mario, zelda, biohazard and starfox come out but that doesnt seem for quite a while yet. even the US release schedule is looking pretty alarming with just s***-loads of sports titles pecilled in.

Why are you buying an X-Box to play Champ Man????

X-Box does not have 1 single game that I would currently buy it for

I did read something about a possible problem with the XBox regarding the processor (700mhz) being overclocked to 733mhz = Overheating?

Halo is meant to be amazing (Edge don`t hand out 10`s for nothing), you`ll have the comfort of sitting on a nice comfy chair surrounded by cans of booze playing Champ Man on a decent-sized screen, Rallisport Challenge looks s*** hot for a rally title, Amped gives total freedorm for your snowboarding thrills and of course, stick the Roses into the play listing as you snowboard.

Fools Gold whilst snowboarding...bliss.

Why not wait a year and get it from Dixons for 159 notes, it will be on the shelf under the sign saying " For sale the X-box another victim of the Sony empire"

I imported a GameCube from HK and must say it is worth every penny (or cent as I`m in Ireland). Rogue Leader is absolutely fantastic looking but it is WaveRace that I`ve been playing the most - the gameplay is out of this world while the wave and weather effects really show what a true next-gen console is capable of.... roll on Resident Evil on March 22nd, it looks amazing and really puts the PS1, Dreamcast and PC versions to shame.

X-Box looks damn good too but I think you`d be better off waiting until the price comes down a bit, which it should do next Xmas...

Played on the X-Box when I was in Manchester today in HMV and Virgin and gotham racing looks absolutely fantastic and plays real good... I am quite impressed with the visuals and the controller isnt as bad as it looks..
