They always seem to go in threes.

Wonder who`s favourite to go next in the Doc`s Dead Pool?

Orlando Bloom... assuming my aim is ok.

EDIT: Sorry to hear about this though... saw Seventh Seal for the first time at the cinema last week and was truly blown away. A true legend that will be sadly missed :(

Sad news - a true great and a loss to cinema. :( He leaves behind an oeuvre that would be the envy of anyone involved in filmmaking

I dont know who is favourite in our dead pool (currently I dont even have a runner - so to speak) but I can report that Mike Reid was not taken. I do not remember anyone mentioning Ingmar Bergman so he probably isnt taken either

Bergman was had not been picked by anyone.

I don`t think i have ever watched a Bergman film. Does that make me a bad person?

I watched The Seventh Seal a few months back.

Brilliant film, but impossible not to think of one of the many spoofs - in the space of 5 minutes, I thought of Bill & Ted, Love & Death, Dave Allen, Last Action Hero and Monty Python`s Meaning Of Life.

Apart from that I think I`ve only seen Fanny & Alexander - 5 hours, what a slog that was!

edit: Poor taste I know but who IS in the running for the Dead Pool?

I`ve only seen a dozen or so of his films but while some leave me cold, there is no doubt he was a master of the art and understood the medium to it`s full potential.

89 is a good age to reach and he did so much in the time that was given to him.
