What is your favourite commentary on a DVD?

Mines Graham Linehan on Father Ted Series 1. Very interesting and very funny. I`ve got series 2 on order from Play which also has commentary - hopefully that one will be just as good.

I also find Ridley Scott does a good commentary. Alien, Gladiator and Hannibal were all very good.

Check out Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert on the Evil Dead 2 commentary (region 1) - hilarious. Also, the funniest I`ve heard is Drive - the guys behind it basically laugh their asses off for 90 minutes.

The commentaries on The Simpsons are pretty funny, especially on the outtakes. The guys basically spend 10 minutes in shock at the abysmal quality of the animation...it`s hilarious!

There are a lot of good ones out there. I thought that `Fight Club` was pretty cool, as was `Das Boot`.

The most all round impressive one I can think of is the one on `Muppets From Space`. The way they used a wierd blend of visuals is really amazing, and something I have yet to see on any other discs. It`s also damn funny.

Anyone else seen this?

I`ve heard The Simpsons track, it does get a little repetitive once the novelty has worn off.

I`ve recently heard Tarantino/Rodriguez on From Dusk Till Dawn and that was really good. Hyperactive Tarantino.

Plus Total Recall SE, Verhoeven and Schwarzenegger, what an act!

:-)

Some of Bey Logan`s commentaries on the HKL titles (and others) are good!

I especially like the ones on OUATIC2 and Miracles.
