A HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Shocking, absolutely shocking. 3rd place for any club wouldn`t go down as a bad season but no doubt you`ll feel terrible about it. And then to be denied a point by a handball! How ironic.
you almost sound like a city fan. rather united lose then their own team win...

Absolutely right, finishing 3rd (or even 2nd which is still possible) is considered a bad season by most United fans, myself included. It`s called setting high standards for yourself, but I doubt you`d know much about that...

Every cloud has a silver lining - with Manchester United losing against Portsmouth it drops City further into the relegation battle.

The major issue this season now for us United fans is who we would rather see gat that last relegation place.....
Man City or Leeds United... i was rather hoping the FA could intervene and relegate them both!
`I plan to live forever, or die trying` ;)
"i was rather hoping the FA could intervene"
They already have, hence Arsenal at the top of the table.

Here come the conspiracy theories.

Sigh. Why can`t you just admit Arsenal are streets ahead of anyone else?
I`m a Newcastle fan by the way and have nothing against either club, but it`s blindingly obvious that Arsenal are the best team in red this season.
Agree totally (as a Manchester United supporter) - Arsenal this year have been awesome - although I do put it down to Terry Henry -- unstoppable and should get the Player Of The Year Award hands down.
"I`ll love it, just love it" if City go down - already 70 million in debt - who knows what will happen to them if they get relegated - nice new stadium for sale I hope! 28 years and counting!
