More a deluded fool than a liar.
And the Mods do nothing. No wonder this site struggles for new people.

I`ll put it another way. If anyone else other than you thought there had been a contentious issue it would have been on match of the day. And then everyone who wanted too would see them.
So you`re calling me a liar.

Football is an emotive subject anywhere and by all means get in there and discuss it but get a bit of a reality check Paull, it doesn`t matter in the big scheme of things Winking
This thread is about refereeing decisions. That is why it is being discussed, however people have made false claims that I am correcting, not because I say so, although that is more than good enough, but because the pundits & experts say so.

And one last thing regarding MOTD. There was a match not shown on any UK TV that I watched. I did mention it before. However there were two stonewall penalties for United that were disallowed. The pundit/ commentator was the ex Arsenal player who I can`t remember, there are only a couple so I`m sure someone will jog my memory, & he kept saying about the two penalty decisions being disallowed, but neither featured on MOTD. This has happened a lot of times. There was a Chelsea match about two years ago, where a Chelsea player did a dirty foul & a fight broke out, that was not mentioned on MOTD.

I`ll take no answer as a `Yes, it was a valid goal.` Happy
OK final remark on this & the Goal on Saturday. If you are talking about the Wigan goal when De Gea was infringed then it was not a goal. When I first saw it I thought it was a goal but replays show De Gea was infringed. Referee`s always protect goalkeepers & I know, had that been the Liverpool goalkeeper, Arsenal goalkeeper etc you would have been incensed  if the goal had stood. Manchester United goalkeepers have the right to be protected just as all the other teams do. As for the Young penalty   it was discussed on the Alan Brazil programme this morning because of the above feature. They said it was a penalty as there was contact.
Bottom line. No goal because of infringement on a goalkeeper. Penalty because of contact.

That is so wrong. Having a motorised satellite dish, cards etc I get to see just about any match I want. I have seen many contentious decisions that got no mention on MOTD.

RE: Refereeing Decisions

I sometimes wonder. Of course I know people"actually go to matches" but the vast majority watch it on Sky etc. There are a limited number of matches that no major channel has, I can watch those as well, Wigan being one of them, & I know a lot of the forums that I go on when United play, the majority listened to it on the radio, a few tried to stream it. Anyhow. I`m going to watch the second half of the Arsenal match now. Goodnight.

I can tell you now that most did not watch the game, it was on very limited satellite coveragelol - ever heard if this place called a football ground? You can go to it and actually watch football.
It was at Wigan. Not that many United supporters can get in. I`m still awaiting your thoughts on the Wigan players deliberate handball?

Someone who`s a lot more honest and less blinkered
You "more honest & less blinkered" don`t make me laugh. It took me all my willpower to stop coming onto the thread when you were sticking up for that racist cheating diving twat suarez. If I say something about United you can take it as fact, how can I say that, easy, because it is what is on tape and all the excuses on earth won`t change that. Once again when I say something against Manchester United Its very quiet, funny
the minute I stick up for them "I`m a laughing stock`. You also claim gerrard doesn`t dive. Ha bloody ha. `More honest & less blinkered` don`t make me laugh..

lots of far less biased fans that I work with say they deserved anything from the game.
I can tell you now that most did not watch the game, it was on very limited satellite coverage but I watched the whole match live. As I said the hand ball was the most blatant I have ever seen that was not given. We all know how games change when things like that happen.

I think to try and defend that as being a penalty makes people laugh at you more than they do normally.
Who the **** do you think you are? If people laugh at me then they are the fools.
Yesterday was a definite penalty. Pundits agreed as well. Wigan. You clearly did not watch the match. Usual educated guess and at the same time put down someone who actually watched it. Wigan played well, we did not, but had we been given the 2 penalties the game would probably have swung our way.

Yeah & that is where?

Just saw that on Sky News. Really good news.

If you are talking about me,
No pat. I was not talking about you. I was referring to all those that post anti Manchester United, mostly untrue, but miss the glaring penalties we should have had. Anyhow I`m off to West Ham.... uh uh, anyone know where it is???

Paull, I think everyone takes the general opinion that you being around to mention things related to Man Utd is ample. Happy
Well that goes to show you take no notice, I`ve hardly posted anything Manchester United related in the last 12 months. We have had a lot of decisions against us this year & I have not posted most if not all of them. Take a look back. I only came onto this thread when an anti United post was mentioned to balance the books. Well anyone see the blatant handball/ penalty that was not given at Wigan? Glaring silence?

Ashley Young`s dive which even Fergie seems embarrassed about.
He should of been sent off. Its the second time I`ve seen him do it.
He`s a cheat & he`s shaming Man Utd
He may have gone down theatrically but he was tripped & it was a penalty. The pundits on TV agree with that as well. I will agree that I hope he does not go diving for penalty`s or as far as I`m concerned he can move on to another club.
So how many watched the Manchester United - Wigan match where we were denied the most obvious handball penalty ever. I say ever as I`ve never seen a more definite penalty turned down, & remember we should have had two penalties in that match but no one on here mentioned it.

Which one? The Fulham game where Fulham have got the pen - or today`s where Utd got one from an offside position that wasn`t even a foul and QPR had a man sent off?
Surprised Paull hasn`t commented on those decisions lately... Winking
Wow you really are one sided. At least post the whole truth. United have been denied so many penalties over the last 18 months that I have lost count. If you want an example take the Wigan game. We should have had two. The hand ball one was the most blatant easiest to see penalty you will ever see & it was denied.

Doesn`t that give you the same delay problem as the "Red Button" option on Sky.
5 Live commentary about 2-3 secs in front of the video.
Its not too bad on the F1. No good with football. I use a DAB radio with delay.

Good idea on the face of it but tried about 5 times in Liverpool city centre last night and no Cloud points within reach.

They should have put safety nuts on the clouds.

RE: Chinese GP

Point a dish to RTL & have radio 5 for commentary, unless you speak German.

RE: Best National Ever?

Five horses killed at Cheltenham, three horses killed at Aintree. Eight horses killed in less that a month in those two events alone. Something has to be done. Every year they say they will do something, every year more horses die.

RE: Best National Ever?

Absolute disgrace, yet more horses killed for gambling. The sooner it is banned the better.

I think it has to be a certain resolution before you can enable it, I had to turn it on in the Edit Info bit for one of mine. It`s interesting, but far from good. Confused
If I get 5 minutes I`ll try a screen grab of one of mine, it was truly amazing. As I said before, some were poor.

Does the You Tube 3D conversion look any good on your TV?

RE: Court rules Computer code ISN`T physical property..

I believe one of the terms is `Creative licence`. They created it & no matter what format now or in the future it is converted to, it still belongs to the `creator`. Unless of course the licence runs out.

You Tube 3D

I have noticed this on a few of my videos but didn`t think anything more to it as all mine were filmed or taken in `mono` or 2D. Last night I was playing with it & I used the Green/Red glasses & I was amazed at the quality of the 3D conversion. Some places it is poor but others it is amazing & you would not guess it came from a mono/ 2D source. You can choose the colour type of the glasses, Blue Red -Green Red etc. Colour or BW. swap left right to get the correct effect. Both images sided by side & so on. If you choose the side by side & cross your eyes until the pictures merge it can be amazing. Its to the left of the change quality button but for some reason is only on some of my videos. Anyone else tried it?

RE: Court rules Computer code ISN`T physical property..

It may not be stealing per se, but they still own the licence etc & the `product` cannot be used without the licence holders permission, & they are unlikely to give permission.
