Hmm...I wasn`t so smitten. It started off well, yeah, especially with his `single` - but then went downhill fast and the ending in that nightclub was poor. I think that by moving out of the traditional mould of the programme, they have shot themselves in the foot somewhat.

Things felt as if they hadn`t been thought through as best as possible: maybe tomorrow night`s will be better...here`s hoping. :-D

And I wouldn`t expect the DVD until October 2004.

Hi Rik,
I kinda agree with you but maybe my immediate thought at the end credits was
to compare it with yesterday`s Fools and horses which was very disappointing as
discussed in another thread.
Lets hope tomorrow`s xmas party/reunion of Dawn and Tim fairs better.

Gotta disagree guys, I thought it was great. The whole blind date thing was sooooo cringeworthy! And I liked the way Gareth is as manager, just hilarious. Keith as always was great too. One thing I didn`t like though was the new woman at Gareth`s old desk, she was so annoying, I couldn`t wait till her scenes were over

I am new to this programme, but was it a drama or was it supposed to be funny?

A comedy, first and foremost, although post-Series 1 some dramatic elements were worked in.

I have to say that this is a VASTLY overrated series. I liked the 1st one but the 2nd one just overdid the stupid "awkward" silences. It was good for the 1st few times but then it was like "Lets make 12 silences per episode" thus making it unfunny. I also must say this about Bo Selecta 2 which only has a counple of funny moments. Even Avid/Lee said on Radio 2 that he hopes noone is bored with it and series 3 will be very different. Lets hope so.
