The great movie Donnie Darko is to do the rounds again
and maybe with a release of the now so popular mad world song as played daily on radio 1 and radio 2

I hear a director`s cut is in the works, with added scenes and alternate music.

Saw this movie and could`nt understand it. Must be me i suppose. Lots of people on the forums rave on about it, but i sat there watching till the end none the wiser towards what the hell it was about.

Try watching it a second time. It`ll make more sense. 8)

If that doesn`t work then watch the dvd with directors commentry on.

I think that song from the film will soon become very boring once it`s overplayed, just like what happened with that Aqualung one from the car advert, both lovely songs though.

The Donnie Darko website is bloody fantastic too - well worth checking out.

It seems a bit soon to re-release it. I saw it in the cinema when it was released originally just over a year ago and I have the DVD. So even with my UGC pass I won`t be going to see it again (unless there is a Director`s Cut, but why bother?).

I loved this film when i first watched it and since ive seen it several times on dvd i love it even more.

So watch it a couple of times

I thought it was a great film. The picture house cinema here in Southampton showed it a year or so ago, I remember my gf and I watched it, then went and had pizza, discussing the film to death, in a good way, until our heads hurt :) Hoping we weren`t gonna ruin it for anyone who might over hear, but I`m assuming anyone who did would just be thoroughly confused :)
