Page 1 of Best Music Line Up in Europe EVER!!!!!!

Just to anyone who missed the Witnness Festival in Dublin last weekend, you missed the best music line up in Europe ever! There were so many great bands, here`s a few of them: Prodigy, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, No Doubt, Wilt, Hoobastank, Chemical Bro`s, Basement Jaxx, Oasis, Less Than Jake. Talk about brilliant! The words FCUKING BRILLIANT come to mind. Hopefully there`ll be just as good a line up next year but I doubt it..... Even still though, it was a weekend for the history books, anyone who went can truly say that!

Purely subjective of course : no Orbital, New Order or The Fall.

Actually Green Day are coming to Nottingham soon, along with Iggy Pop and a few others.

I can safely say that there is not one single band in your list that I would take a second listen to.
If they were in my back garden.....I`d close the curtains.

Subjective is THE word. But if we all liked the same stuff, what a borign wold it would be.

The Foo Fighters and Oasis ......kick ass. Not so sure about the other groups though!

Kind of puts Reading (where I`m going) to shame.
Well at least I`ll still get to see The Prodigy. Seeing Oasis would of been great though.

Wot no Beatles. I thought Freddie and The Dreamers might have made that list. Brian Poole is also sorely missed. Also a certain lack of Saxon or Dio in there. Certainly a line up of *true* greats would feature at least one of these giants...

It`s all relative - yer see I thought I went to to the best music line up ever in 1999 and saw - Sterophonics, Suede, Bueatiful South, Happy Mondays, Cast, Kula Shaka, Supergrass, Cardigans, Travis, Faithless and the Levellers.

There might have been some sporty tart there as well, but she was crap.

I saw Green Day on Weds at Wembley and (despite being made to feel quite old by the number of teenagers in the audience) they were great.
