Possible, but 2 1980's movies & a cartoon series that changed the canon to such a degree it screwed up Janine and naming the second car. They would have mentioned it at some point.

it's started being advertised on the kids TV Channels - I have a feeling that's more for the parents than than the kids :)

On a side note, I went out the other night with a mate, we caught a bite to eat in a pie shop, which is decorated with movie and comic book stuff, he sat with a copy of the portrait of Vigo the Carpathian behind him :) was quite odd staring at that eating dinner!
