I remember watching this a long time ago, and came across the full series on Amazon a few days ago and have started watching it again tonigh, it`s still very funny after all these years.

Any oldies remember this series?

I remember Samantha Janus.

I remember it, used to really enjoy it, Samantha Janus was a looker back then.

They changed the main guy in it half way through didn`t they?

I have the boxset, had it years. Loved the show. I think it was the last show of the first series that was best, when the agoraphobic guy got roped into being lead singer for the band upstairs and had to do a gig. Classic!!!

Ben Chapman was Matthew for the first series. That bloke in Silks was for the next two.

Speaking of Sam Janus, she`s about the only actress I can think of who actually changed her stage name when she got married. Very odd, don`t you think, when people knew her as Janus, to go with her new married name of Womack and risk it affecting her career?

I know I might be in the minority, but I preferred the guy who played the lead in the second series onwards.
