Sounds like he might be channeling Sir Alec Guiness.

It`s not false modesty I don`t think. I`ve seen him do better work (Shallow Grave anyone? or the ever popular Trainspotting). Star Wars was clearly a cake walk. He could have phoned that performance in.

or one of the worst actors Hayden Christensen (while channeling a Maple tree).

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I love the prequels, but part of the problem is that it`s all so bloody po-faced and serious. Just because the Jedi are supposed to be feared and respected it doesn`t mean they shouldn`t look like they`re having fun with it. Ewan didn`t really get to have much fun with the Obi-Wan character, and neither did anyone else for that matter, and as far as the performances are concerned you can see the results on screen for yourself. There`s very little in the name of chemistry between any of the cast. It`s all very cynically produced.

But still, I love Star Wars regardless. But I`m not totally blind, y`know?

Exactly where on the site is this supposed to be? I find it to be one of the worst sites to navigate I`ve ever come across. Content might be good, but the layout sucks.

true, the stars wars prequels aren`t the coolest films to admit you like, but i have seen Ewan in a lot of worse or forgettable movies
