Page 1 of Simpsons season 3 R1 shipped!

Well, after getting really p***ed off lately cos of Splash (5 orders, going back to the start of June- all cancelled by me this morning)
I was getting really disheartened about using the web to buy my DVD`s, but when I checked my CDWow order page for the Simpson's season 3, I saw it`s been sent out! :)

The release dates not till the 26th August, so for once something I ordered is gonna get to me before its even released- as apposed to buying from Splash, Who take my money then don`t send out what I've paid them for. :(

ahhh.....wicked....mine`s been sent too!

how long do R1 discs usually take from cd-wow? this is the first time i`ve ordered from them.

Got mine a couple of days ago from Movietyme.Very good. There`s some great episodes to watch.

They are brilliant and I expect mines to be on my doorstep saturday morning.
An absolute bargain when you consider what other retailers are charging for the R2 version. I used the £3 off and got mine for £19.99. Now that is a bargain.

Are you liable for import tax on these orders since it is over £18???

Can anyone tell me if the £3 voucher is still available for CD-WOW!

I was thinking of ordering Simpsons 3 from here as well but was unsure of the tax situation, will CD-WOW pay it?

The "First Direct" £3.00 voucher doesn`t exist anymore. I don`t think you will get "hammered" for tax ..as they send there dvd`s from Sweden. Mine is on it`s way as we speak .....

SWEDEN????? I thought they were sent from HONG-KONG!!

If they are from Sweden doesn`t this mean they can`t be charged import tax?

Since when has they came from Sweden- do all orders come from here or only certain DVD`s?

I think somewhere on their site, they guarantee to be customs free. In the unlikely
event that you do get hit, send them an email and they will refund the charge.

I might be wrong ...but I recall my "Buffy - Season 4" boxset having a Sweden post mark on it. Anyway, I have never had to pay import tax, and I have loads of stuff off them.
