That`s the model I`ve got - smashing telly, excellent price. (I got mine as part of a package in a warranty swap-out for a dead Philips).

That is a bargain! I got the same telly about 6 months ago for £200 without stand from a local shop. Its refurbished by sony and 12mth sony warranty.

To anyone who has one: When i switch it on it takes a couple secs to move off a blank screen to the tv picture and often there is a series of thin purple diagonals - this is just for a couple secs on switch on. Do you have the same issue and do i need to call sony?

Yes that happens on mine as well, it happens on a lot of TV`s, nothing to worry about

Suprise suprise

Clearance section has been taken down off website.

I gave them a ring they explained that when people were placing orders, they were not being subtracted from stock. They only had 2 of the TV`s in stock and they went ages ago, so if you ordered one of these (they said approx 150 orders had been placed), you wont be getting your bargin TV.

This applies to any item that was listed in clearance, so if you get your item you`ve been very very lucky.
