RE: Weltech headphones at Lidl

"Are these the `over ear` ones with the yellow or blue plastic detail on the ear piece?"

Yes they are.

If you look on the back of the packet to the right hand bottom corner, the model number is
40410 / KH75.

RE: Weltech headphones at Lidl

There so good, I just thought I have to tell everyone.

I gave them another listen this morning, they are fantastic,

RE: Weltech headphones at Lidl

I dont know if these are the same headphones as you guys were talking about back in 2004, but I was in Lidl today and picked up a pair of Welltech headphones for my daughter to use with her Creative zen stone 1gb player.

They were only £2.99 so I wasn`t really expecting much, but as they were so cheap I thought it was worth taking a chance.

Ok, we tried them out when she came in from work, and I have to say they are really good, the sound is first class, in fact for the price they are brilliant.

If I had paid alot more money I would have been pleased, but £2.99, what a bargain!

I`m of to Lidl again in the morning to get another pair.

Highly recommended :)

RE: Genesis gig to be broadcast live at selected Cinemas` In HD and 5.1....

"My overall point is that both bands are good in their own ways and everyone has their own opinion. I happen to be a fan of both and a lot of others!"

I totally agree with these comments.

For me I would also add Yes to the list,

Three of the greatest bands ever.

Close to the edge, I know you agree.

RE: Pink Floyds `Wish You Were Here` album......WoW!!!

I went to see Ausie Pink Floyd last night at the BIC Bournemouth, they were FANTASTIC,
they got a standing ovation at the end.

I saw the real Floyd a few years back, so I was not sure if I would like, what is really a tribute band, but this was such a great gig, with a brilliant light show.

Highly recommended

RE: Bloody taxi drivers.

I was in London last weekend with my family, 5 of us and we needed a taxi to get us from the pall mall area across to close to where the victoria coach station is.

The time was around 12.30 am, we seemed to be travelling for about 15 to 20 mins. When we arrived at our destination the cost was showing £12 which between 5 of us was, we thought ok, we were quite happy to pay that amount, it would have cost a hell of alot more down here in Poole Dorset,

Imagine our suprise when the driver said to us, sorry but because of the marathon I had to take a different longer route so I will only charge £8. It would have been more like £18 in Poole.
All I can say is credit where it`s due, what a genuine guy.

RE: Loss of our darling "Patches"

I`m in tears reading your very sad news.

I really am very sorry for you and your family.

Patches was very lucky having such a loving family.

RE: 250 x 1000mg omega 3 capsules for £4.24 -> 75% off rrp

Yea brilliant, I got 500 for me and the missus in the Poole shop

Got to get / keep healthy, 8) to be healthy

When you compare H & B to other online health shops they are very
expensive, but the sale prices are always very good.

RE: What was your first ever computer??

My first computer was an Amiga 500+.

We had hours of fun with it, hundreds of pirated games which could be had
for the price of a floppy disk 10p. Naughty I know, sorry ;)

I have a little amusing story about early computers.

When my son who at the time was 9 years old went to play with his
little girl friend who at the time was about 7, they were going to play
on her commodore 64.

Whilst they were waiting for it to load up, she said to him,

"I think commodor 64 computers are better than Amiga 500`s because when
you are waiting for it to load up, you have got time to make a cup of tea"

Made me smile :)

RE: New Beatles album

Being an oldie I grew up with the Beatles, at one stage I had every record that thay had made, I also saw them play live twice in Bournemouth.

My take on this new cd is, for me, really good background music.

Like many others I got it cheap with the cdwow voucher, so no complaints.

RE: FREE £5 voucher for CDwow.!!!! Hurry !!!!

Mine to (Beatles)
On first listen I have to say I really like it. :)

I was a bit concerned as to whether I would, as I was around when the Beatles first
came on the scene, I went to see them twice in Bournemouth, could hardly hear them
because of all the screaming.
I thought that maybe I wouldn`t like hearing all these well known songs, done in a different way, but yea really good.

Anyway I`m waffling, sorry (:¦

Good album ;)

RE: Free Jack Daniels 2007 Calendar

SteveBanana,

Click on the remove frame, top right corner.

Then enter DOB, that should sort your problem.

RE: Paul Weller info...

My son & daughter go to all the Paul Weller gigs local to Poole Dorset.
I went to one myself a couple of years ago, great gig, but I think you will
be lucky to get two and a half hours out of Mr Weller

RE: Fuji Finepix S5600 - £112.49 Argos

I reserved one of these cameras Thursday night at the £ 112.49 price, only to see that within
a couple of hours the price had increased to 149.99.

I was to say the least not happy. >:(

But Friday morning I phoned Argos check & reserve just in case, and was told that
"todays price" was £112.49. :) This was for Poole Dorset, but a few guys on another forum
had done the same as me, also getting the £112.49 price.for there areas.

Give it a try.

RE: Free sample of Bounty Frappe - Gorgeous Coconut Drink!!

RE: Replacing acoustic guitar strings...

Dont use electric strings.

Buy some 13-56 medium (acoustic) guitar strings.

They should take some bashing.

Plenty on ebay

RE: POLL: what colour should it be?

My son has a epi sg-400 in cherry red and it looks pretty good, but
I think black would be even better.

So my vote will be for the black.

RE: free blank dvd`s

Thanks O P

Order placed. :)

RE: Watch TV for Free

Any links for todays play off final ??

RE: anyone else avoiding the world cup?

We live in a right miserable old world, what with all the wars going on, bombings,
even in our own country, every day we are reading of people being killed or raped,
even children, so.

If we can get some enjoyment from watching football, especially for the few weeks
of the world cup, then I say bring it on.

If you don`t like it, don`t watch, it`s that easy.

I`m really looking foreward to it all starting, being half Italian I have interests in
both England & Italy, although my loyalty`s wll always first be with England.

RE: my geetar

Got to agree with splintercell. hours of practice is what is needed

Both my sons play guitar to a very high standard.

They both started at the age of 13. and spent hours and hours practicing
until they had sore fingers, but it was well worth the effort.

Epi SG --- good guitar, oldest son has one of these.

Good Luck

RE: Frank Sinatra 3 CD Platinum Box set - 99p

My order came today. >:(

Tatty torn outer Cd packet, Cds loose in the box, resulting
in scratched, marked, dirty looking Cds.

On the way back to Amazon in the morn, they are going
to send a replacement.

I also got the cheap price, £2-43 with P&P
