Synopsis:
A compelling tale of romantic tragedy in nineteenth century Russia, Alexander Pushkin`s epic novel "Eugene Onegin", has been brought to life by academy award winning actor Ralph Fiennes (An English Patient, Schindler`s List).

Evgeny Onegin (Ralph Finnes) disillusioned with St. Petersburg`s high society, moves to the country when he unexpectedly inherits an estate. A city sophisticate out of place, he is, nevertheless, intrigued by Tatyana (Liv Tyler), a spirited beauty who surprises him with her passionate declaration of love.

Rebuking this love is a decision he lives to regret and one which comes back to haunt him in this sweeping epic film, a tale of unrequited love, desire and danger within a tangled web of emotions.
