This is the review for the region 2 version of the movie, which is still unavailable in the UK.
A touching little movie that goes to show that you don`t need famous actors to make a good movie.
The movie tells the story of a 15 year-old black boy (beautifully played by Sam Jones) who`s a bit slow, and about his daily life - an abusive father, a rotten boss and one good friend.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs at all, but the picture lacks some detail, occasionally.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good. There`s very little usage of the surrounds, but the dialog is always clear.
The menus are partially animated with music.
The disk offers no extras at all.
Bottom line - a nice little movie that will undoubtedly mark the beginning of Sam Jones` career.
