The dark crystal film was Jim Hensons baby , and he died in 1990, I remember watching it and it was totally weird as a sifi fantasy, not sure if it was targeted for kids or adults.

I never bought the 1982 film on DVD, as it was a nightmarish type of film, and cannot forget it. so not sure if I want to watch this new series or not. in case it is just as nightmarish as the film.

Must dig out the Blu-ray before then, I don't remember much about it at the time.
