Goal of the month for September sorted, Eddie's back heel.

Unless we score anything half decent to beat 'them' on Sunday as a derby winner quite often nicks it.

IN ARTETA WE TRUST!

First half was a wonderful attacking performance, second half was a wonderful defensive performance.

I still worry about Xhaka, but this feels like our first choice attacking and defensive team. Tomiyasu again with a top performance, Ramsdale is so our #1 keeper, just the energy he brings to that back four, and Ben White gets things done and is pairing really well with Gabriel.

So much great passing and movement today, yes Spurs were poor but we were great! :)

At no time in this match was I worried and thinking about it that applies to the Norwich and Burnley matches as well.
That has never been the case for the last several seasons.
We've got a team now that inspires confidence across the board.

Tottenham you have to say were woeful. Very few of them looked like they could be bothered after the first goal went in for which none of them moved.
ESR could've been running through a set of those red cut outs they use in practice.
Gabriel is putting me in mind of Lauren, solid and totally unflappable.


The icing on the cake Arsenal Women just stuffed Man City 5.0 to go top of the league.

Three.
Four if you want to be over generous and include the Crappybow cup match and while the results were nice, particularly stuffing N17, it was watching what seems to be coming together.
As for not beating much, that was pretty well the LWCs first choice line up.

Let's just say I'm a lot happier than I was a couple of weeks ago and quite hopeful.

You should be, im sure spurs fans would have been a couple of weeks ago :)

Having everyone fit for the first time obviously helps a lot, but I think Ramsdale, White and Tomiyasu have made the difference.

The way Ramsdale energises the defense (as well as being a really good keeper), and White is just so calm and on it, and Tomi just looks like Tierney's mirror image.

I'm glad we don't have a midweek game, they all need a rest!

Bloody annoying match.
Yes Barca are a fantastic side but we didn't start playing until about 65 mins in. Pretty well a given that they would have loads of possession and we'd have to hit them on the break but far too hesitant and nervous when we got the ball.
Ref not up to much and way to fussy. Same number of fouls from each side but we get six yellows to Barca's one, including one for the manager who it's fair to say was not amused at some of the decisions.

I hope we give it a bit more of a go on the return leg.
