What just happened? I'm not complaining but...
- Liverpool made two defensive mistakes and we pounced on them and clinically took advantage of it
- We defended really well, for nearly the entire game
- We beat Liverpool for the first time in 5 years? First time under Klopp.
Is Arteta actually Jose in disguise?

Just wow. 92 - 8% possession at one point.
Talk about parking buses.
Two poor mistakes by us and then what, 24 - 3 shots. :(
Ste
We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Nah.
Klopp had few quid on an Arsenal win.
As happy as I am with the result I can't help thinking...
A. What a better position we'd be in if we'd stuffed Tottenham.
and
B. If Liverpool had needed that to win the league they'd have walked it.
Considering he made changes to the team with an obvious eye to trying to edge out City in the semi it was a very unexpected and welcome result.
For my money if we'd sacked Emery even a couple of weeks earlier and put Arteta in we'd be comfortably top six.

We need to ask ourselves an important question.
Would we rather revenge for Baku or putting a dent in the current idolisation of Solskjaer. ( Shut up, I'm enjoying the dream.)
If we play with the same concentration and commitment we're capable of winning this competition which, with this group of players, is nothing short of a miracle.
I haven't checked but I suspect that second goal was the first time we'd been in their half since half time. It's a mark of being an Arsenal fan lately though that it was about 95 minutes before I cracked a huge grin.

Im sure I mentioned how many assists KT would create for your front 2, that pass for the 2nd goal surprised even me :) as a Scotland fan I'm happy he's at home as a left centre back as I assume Robertson will always be 1st choice left back .

He's very popular already, he's a smart defender, good crosser, works really hard the entire game, and yes that pass was amazing!

This reminds me of Keiran Gibbs, who was a really good left back for Arsenal but Nacho Moreal was just a bit better.
But then this is football, injuries happen, and clubs change...

Well that was dire, but I guess after beating Liverpool and then City in the same week, when the table no longer matters and the team must be mentally drained, it's ok.
