He can be a bit of a knob.
Maybe he's upset AFC haven't got much spare cash at the moment.

You offered, they (club and player) accepted and presumably he's on a decent enough screw to keep him happy.

As long as EFC can justify it in the accounts I don't see a problem.

Mind you this opinion is subject to change if he scores and you beat us at Goodison.

Merson is one of the ex-Arsenal players I roll my eyes at or generally take little notice of... I don't think he's even a fan of Arsenal? He makes marginally more sense than Sol Campbell, which isn't saying much.

Well Campbell batted for the side in white, did he not?

Was going to say batted for the other side, but thought might be interpreted incorrectly or not be as obvious as it was in my head...

Have to say, I was really impressed by our match against Chelsea.  Definitely a hard fought point there, and overall quite a niggly fight.  Chelsea really don't like it up them...

Also, since when did this become a common thing:

I'm being told on social media that all teams move the Ref's spray, but as I don't watch an awful lot of football outside of our games, not something I've ever been aware of...

Great match, first time I can remember in a long time where I was half confident we may snatch a victory.

In the end it took a silly goalkeeping error and the head of someone who hadn't played since the opening day of last season for what was the simplest of headers.

Gut wrenching, but as I say, great game...

The fact that I know precisely how you feel is no comfort at all.
That's a bitch of a way to lose a match.

Haven't seen any highlights yet but reports say you were well worth the draw.

Yeah, a draw the fair result.
Unbelievable howler.
(btw, it's not that Origi hasn't played since the beginning of last season, he played quite a bit - just not for Liverpool)

It was a good match, much better than most of the recent past.  That's the difference with both sides trying to play football..

That'll teach to take what Martin Tyler says as gospel...

In a bit of a slump at the moment, although didn't expect to take anything from City I was disappointed with how we allowed Watford to bully us and end up chasing a winnable game at home.

It's still early days, but we need to work on that final ball...

Another good match, we at least tried to match Spurs in style of play but we were completely outclassed.

Still more upset at the derby result than this one...
