I had a dispatch note for a CD today. I hope it comes what with CDWow`s current predicament and Royal Mail p***ing about.

HK$500 million turnover is about £31 million. Their fine is estimated at £41 million so it looks pretty certain they are screwed.

I reckon they will file for bankrupcy before paying the fine. Damn the BPI and their stupid rules!

If cdwow do fold I sense they will be back under a new name.

If CDWOW folds without sending me my outstanding orders - which have nothing to do with the BPI whatsoever - I`m going to be cross. >:(

I got a refund on one DVD but now they have cancelled my account and have not refunded me for the other I had ordered and paid for. Its only £17.99 so to be honest I`m not that bothered as I must have used s*** loads more in money off vouchers down the years. :/

Badboybez - did you go ballistic in your request for a refund, accusing them of all kinds of dishonesty, or did you ask nicely? ;)

If you actually look at the dates on the PDF, this is quite old and the closing date was in June, which would probably explain some of the recent `issues`.

The more worrying thing is that CD WOW is in receivership rather than for sale. Who`d want to buy an insolvent company?
