Title says it all really

Not good! I am still awaiting 2 DVD bargains I ordered in Jan. I knew delivery with Splash would be slow, but NEVER is a tad too long to wait. Glad I only used these guys for bargains, feel sorry for anyone who had a lot of pre orders.

I tried ordering from Splash twice, and on both occassions cancelled my orders after waiting for over 6 weeks for the DVD`s to arrive, so good riddance to bad rubbish.

This is absolutely infuriating! I`ve been waiting since January for 2 cds and 2 dvds I ordered. Despite repeatedly calling them and being told it would be out to me within a fortnight and then failing to be so I only attempted to cancel it this morning! As of this afternoon that liquidation notice is up.

These guys were rank amateurs in their trade and deserved to lose out, I only wish they hadn`t taken £30 odd of my cash with them..... No chance of ever seeing that money again.... :(

Batavia

If you paid by debit card then it would appear that, like me, you have no chance of a refund.

Cheeky f*ckers were trading up till noon, I bet that they carried on taking money and orders with NO INTENTION of honouring them. This is theft of the lowest order and I hope that they get what is coming to them.

Unfortunately customers are the lowest level of creditor, so if we received anything, then it be later down the line and worth nothing.

Well, not sorry to see them go. Sorry, for all the people who might not get their DVDs or refunds though.

These guys were the most amateurish company I`ve dealt with!

There are so many DVD retailers online, I`m not surprised that this one hit the wall. DVD.com recently stopped trading as well.

I telephoned Visa. They will refund the money by sending out a disclaimer form. You will have to send back with it a copy of the e-mail, and print out the web site as it stands, now.

Yeah if you pay by Debit Card and the company goes out of business, you don`t stand a chance. My mate bought a PC with Multivision which has been faulty from day one; he wanted them to sort it out but they`ve now gone out of business. Because he paid by Switch he doesn`t have any rights!

Anyway, I have never used Splash before, and from my experience on these boards it seems their closure is of no loss to anyone.
