Page 1 of VISTA TO XP

I am runing vista on my laptop but want to go back to xp when load xp disk it says no hard drive prese
nt cant continue i know how to put xp disk it work ok iam using a compaq presario 500

but it work on vista as work now on it so looking to fix so can use xp any ideas were it goes

just want go xp on it anbody advise were it goes or how to put it right

Is it a SATA drive? Possibly needs a driver loaded when it gives the option to press F8 to load drivers

Oh feck, that`s just reminded me. My new system doesn`t have a floppy and XP only allows you to load RAID drivers from floppy when you press F6. Might have to make a slipstreamed CD...
