Nick Shepherd (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 27th June 2007, 14:08

Right, finally had enough of current supplier overcharging me every month since they changed hands, even though i keep telling them.

Is Sky broadband any good? I only surf the net and get email so i dont need more than 2mb.

Any one goy Sky?

Cheers

Swings and roundabouts. My brother in law has it, and it`s a bit flaky. Others say it`s okay. ADSL isn`t as robust as cable, and Sky have monthly usage caps (2GB on the 2 meg service, which is pitiful). If you pay more you get a 40GB or unlimited amount (£5 and £10 extra respectively), but the `unlimited` option is still governed by an undisclosed fair use policy.

I had seen your post, thought I would see if anyone else had any dealings.....

I complained today about the billing problems and was given a firther 12 months at £10 a month so will stick with that as its cheap and via cable....

We shall see if they bill it right this time!

Cheers for the replies :)
