The band took over the closed Brighton Theatre Royal to record the album - lots as 'live' and all playing together.  you can really tell I think.
Guy's vocal is as good and gravelly smooth as ever.

I'd bet there is none and have never heard autotune mentioned in the same sentence as Guy Garvey's vocals.  He sounds that good right the way through.

What about the vocal on this one?  First 30 secs or so show just how good his voice is.

Nobody does mention it any more, because almost everyone uses it now, and it's hard to know what a normal voice sounds like these days... since almost everyone uses it now.

Also, there is having an amazing voice, and I'm not saying he doesn't, and having a voice that can hit and maintain a pitch perfectly in a way humans just don't.

If I get time I will run it through an app and see whether his voice is as unhumanly tight as it sounds.

I first heard the Alex Lifeson track on YouTube and immediately thought that sounds a bit like Poppy.
I posted that and the first reply was highly dismissive. Probably because she's done so many style changes from awful sugary pop at first to the last two albums which veer all over from Electronica, Growly Metal, Punk, Shoegaze with just some very clever compositions. Anyway  I posted a link to this and the following post was "He has a point!"
I think is incredibly similar?
