whats the best dvd with macro disable and multi region ?

with all the new players coming on sale now without macro disable,i was wondering what people thought was the best currently on sale dvd player with these attributes.i fancy a new player but they must have both of the above,any views ?.

For the money, the Dansai at £99.49 from Sainsburys is very good. Buy a clone if you can`t find one.

If you have more money then I would go for the Toshiba 210 at about £150 or the Pioneer 444 at about £200, both can be bought chipped for region/ macro free.

(I`m not 100% about Toshiba and macro)

Hmm the Dansai 852 will play any disc you put in it. £100 @ tescos

Do NOT buy the Dansai 1010 , cant disable Macro :-(

I understand neither the Tosh or the Pioneer output NTSC > PAL 50 conversion. Only important if you want to run/copy Region 1 discs
