Playing music wirelessly around the house...

flyingmonkey (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 10th December 2008, 20:09

I have seen the Apple Airport Express for around £60. Looks very easy to use and you just plug it into your stereo. Only problem is you have to control the music via your PC or laptop.

A lot of the articles I have been reading on Wi-Fi music are a few years old and I am wondering if there is a decent, up-to-date option. These Wi-Fi stereos look good but seem to be overpriced.

I currently have a PC and laptop networked with a Netgear 54 meg wireless router.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of something a little more high tech.
